HipChip lets you easily pool money and give gift cards as a group.

Starting a gift is easy. You simply choose a recipient and select what you'd like to give. We then help you invite your group and keep track of everything. We notify you when people chip in and automatically remind the latecomers for you. HipChip accepts payments online, pools the contributions and prepares your gift card(s) for delivery.

We charge the contributor a small processing fee of $1.00 for each contribution.Other than for Visa cards, there are no additional fees. If you are ordering a Visa card, the fee schedule is Here.

If no one else joins your gift, you can cancel your order for a 100% refund. No questions asked.

Yes. Each person in your group can decide how much they'd like to give.

No. The only person who can see what each person gives is the gift organizer.

No need, we take care of this for you. If someone in your group has not chipped-in, we will send them a friendly reminder three days after the original invitation goes out and one day before the gift is closed. You can also choose to stop any of these reminders.

No. Unfortunately, we can only accept contributions made in the United States. Also our gift cards can only be redeemed in the United States.

HipChip delivers all e-gift cards to the gift organizer. We prepare the gift card(s) for easy printing and/or instant email delivery so the gift organizer can decide exactly how and when to deliver the gift. You can print or email any of our e-gift cards as many times as you need - no more lost gift cards.A VISA gift card is mailed to the gift organizer as a physical gift card that arrives in your mail box.

The gift organizer can print & hand deliver the e-gift card or send it directly to the recipient via email. To give an e-gift card like a plastic card simply print it out. To give an e-gift card electronically simply send the recipient an email. This feature allows the recipient to print, access or spend their gift by pulling it up on their device.A VISA gift card is mailed to the gift organizer as a physical gift card that arrives in your mail and can be given to the recipient anytime and anywhere.Your group's organizer can access the gift card(s) anytime by logging into their HipChip account.

You decide. Your e-gift card will be available when you have finished collecting. Your VISA gift card will be in your mailbox 5-10 business days after you order it.

VISA gift cards are plastic gift cards. However, the other retail cards can only be emailed as an e-gift card or a delivered as a printed gift card.

E-gift cards are just like traditional cards, only better. You spend and use e-gift cards just like traditional gift cards (show the gift card code to the cashier or enter it online.) Here's a few reasons why they're better:

Only the VISA gift cards expire in 7 years. The other gift cards do not have an expiration date.

No. Once the card has been purchased, it cannot be exchanged or refunded.

Visa cards have a maximum value of $1,000. Most of the other cards have a $500 limit but the amount does vary per card.

If no one else chips in, you may cancel orders before you place them.

The gift organizer can login to their account and retrieve, reprint, or re-email any of their gifts at any time. If you still cannot find your gift, please contact us at: info@hipchip.com

Your payment details are encrypted and transmitted using SSL. All credit card details are stored by a third party payment services provider operating under strict Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS.) We do not keep your credit card information on file.
